Samsung LN46B650 – Choosing Your New Television

With so many new TVs being released all the time, its very easy to get confused when choosing what to buy – even when it comes to the Samsung LN46B650 46 inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color. Most would argue that this TV is top quality.

The Samsung LN46B650 is a great looking TV. It has Samsung’s new Touch of Color design. With a shiny black gloss finish on the TV itself and a red trim around the edges, it looks so modern and up to date. Anyone who sees it in your home will notice that it’s a newly released TV. With a 46 inch flat screen with 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, you can’t go wrong there either.

The first thing you should ask yourself when searching for a new TV these days is do I want an HDTV or an EDTV? And what is the difference between the two!? There are so many different TV manufacturers with different styles and qualities of TVs for sale nowadays. Back when TVs were first on the market, you only had a handful to choose from, and it was a simple choice of manufacturer and screen size. Nowadays there are many factors you need to consider and know about before you fork over the cash, or you might get ripped off!

HDTVs and EDTVs are the two main different types of TVs nowadays, and both are of much higher standard than the TVs of yesterday. But which higher picture and sound qualities between the two?

The answer is HDTV. HDTVs are much higher quality TVs than EDTVs. Although, EDTVs weren’t designed to compete with HDTVs on the market. EDTVs were designed to be of higher quality than TVs of the past, but not as high quality or as high priced as High Definition Televisions.

Therefore, a High Definition Television is a must for people looking for an entertainment system with great audio qualities and jawdropping picture qualities.

If you are looking for a TV that gives your family and friends life like scenes then HDTV is the best option as an HDTV has 720 progressive scans whereas an EDTV has only 480. This is another reason why the Samsung LN46B650 is so very popular these days.

When searching for a new TV to buy, many people will go to their local electronics franchise or shopping mall. This isn’t really the best option for many reasons. Shopping online has many advantages of shopping locally, and is becoming more and more popular as time goes on as deals are much faster and easier to find, and buying is physically easier to do.

Most people will hit their local electronics store, look around, discuss the TVs they like with a salesperson and then make their pick. Take it from me, this is NOT the best way to buy a TV. If you’re looking to buy anything newly released, especially any kind of new technology, then online shopping is the way forward. The reasons for this are that it’s much, much easier to find better deals online, as the majority of suppliers on the web don’t have to pay for high street stores, which means that they can pass savings onto the customer. Also, when you buy online, it’s easy to find suppliers that offer free home delivery!

So before heading down to your local electronics franchise for your new TV, do some searching online first of all. I can almost guarantee you that you’ll find a better deal than whatever’s being offered at your local store, with free home delivery included!
